Approach to Evaluation
The accessibility of this website was assessed using a combination of the following methods:
Automated tools: Use of software [e.g., Lighthouse, Axe DevTools, WAVE, Siteimprove, Iubenda, etc.] to identify common technical issues. Details are provided in the next section, “Nature of the intervention.”
Nature of the intervention
The company has adopted a dedicated system to improve the accessibility of its website and ensure an inclusive browsing experience for all users, regardless of any sensory, motor, or cognitive disabilities.
To this end, it has integrated Iubenda’s WayWidget, an advanced technological solution that allows the site to automatically adapt to different user needs. The widget, active on every page of the site, offers a range of accessible features, including:
- screen reader compatibility for visuallyimpaired users;
- the ability to adjust text contrast and size for easier reading;
- keyboard-optimizednavigation for people with motordisabilities;
- deactivation of potentially sensitive animations and dynamiccontent for users with epilepsy or otherneurological disorders.
This initiative is part of a process of continuous innovation aimed at offering a digital service that complies with European regulations and is accessible to an increasingly wider audience.
Limitations – Non-Compliance
The company has conducted a technical and economic assessment of the necessary interventions on its website. Based on this analysis, the company has determined that implementing certain specific changes to the source code or third-party technological components would entail a disproportionate burden, as required by Article 5 of the Directive.
In particular, the complete adaptation of video content published before June 28, 2025, the full accessibility of certain interactive widgets, and the updating of inaccessible historical documents would have a significant impact in terms of technical, economic, and organizational resources.
For this reason, these interventions have not yet been implemented. However, the company is committed to:
- providing, uponrequest, accessible alternative versions of pre-existingcontent where possible;
- periodicallyreviewing the possibility of expandingaccessibility to additional sections and components of the website.
This assessment was conducted taking into account the nature and size of the company, the frequency of use of the affected content, and the resources currently available.
